    Covert....

I pre ordered these from the BEP a few months ago!
They are releasing only 3000 set's of all 12 Districts with the Lowest SN's available!
The program was $350.00 I think...took delivery of the 1st 4 notes today.
The 3 digit notes and that 2626 note will make up for the cost of the Series on day by themselves!
Can't wait tillthe other 2 groups come out! April and August 2009.

Ruben....not exactly....notes really do not work like coins.
If you recall, the reason for a Series 2004 A was that the design change (major) of the $10 and $20 note was changed from the big head to the technicolor note of today!
That was a new design for the $10 note. The most recent change was the new $5 which took place in 2006. I am sure you have seen the new $5 notes with the large Purple 5 on the reverse and stars surrounding Lincoln on the obverse? Here it is so you can see.

With all printings of the new $10, $5 , $20, $50 the dates will remain the same unless there is a major change in the design like we have had, or there are new Treasury Officials appointed to Office. SO yes, we will see Series 2009 note perhaps by next year with different sigs as we have a new administration that will have new sig's but the same current design.

So the $10 note I posted could have been printed anytime from 2004 up to current time. The Block numbers are key to understanding when a run has been printed and how many were printed during that run.Hope this helps a little???

    Regards,

yeha, but those are low numbers so they must have been at the beginning at the new design/ I'll tell you, its gotten to a point that I'll except anything as a ten or a twenty now, there are so many designs out in circulation
