Just cracked my first coins, two Ikes.

I just cracked and cut out an UNC 76 like and 72s from the opg. I must say it hurt and felt I had somehow destroyed history.

They are both going in my Ike Dansco album.

What was the technique you used?

For the Gov polycarbonate cases, I have alwyas used a Dremmel tool with a very samll cutting wheel to start a slot. Then I use a rubber hammer and a wedge to get the case to split. No hassel, no damage....no hurt!!

Don’t fell bad, I cut them out all the time. I hate the cellophane packs.
