Just came across a few sequential hundreds. Was curious if you guys thought they're worth keeping. If not, what should I ask when selling them? Here's a sample of what I've got: Here's the link to a full size view of the picture. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd177/xtremev8/old stuff/SCAN0004-full.jpg Full size link: http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd177/xtremev8/old stuff/SCAN0004-full.jpg
I personally don't think so. I have found that with $100 bills, they really aren't worth much more than face because they have such a high face value to begin with unless you have something REALLY special. So, they are really hard to move. I think you'd have a hard time finding a buyer...and if you did, you'd probably not get much over face anyway. I think that's too much money tied up waiting for a buyer and I'd probably buy something nice with them. But, that's just me.
those are Series 1974 Chicago Notes If they were to grade out at Unc 63 they list at $115 ea so Richie has a point there! Buy a nice Large size note with em.... RickieB
Welcome to the forum first Bluto but agree with what has been posted. 100's are hard to move. Personally, I 'd keep them if as long as I could but if money gets tight I'd spend them as well. This is why I have very few $100 notes in my collection.
Thanks for the welcome. I kinda over looked the introduction part and posted here first. Wish I could say these are the only sequential hundreds I have, but they're not. More out of 74.
We have a guy here "Urbanchemist" who collects the # 7 notes, perhaps he may want 1 of the many you have? Where did you come across all these 7 notes anyway?? RickieB
