1957 Proof Lincoln: Cameo??

    Does anyone know how to take good closeup pictures with a camera that doesn't have a micro or macro or whatever function?

    Hold a magnifying glass in front of the lens.

    Okay. That's what I've been doing, but my magnifying glass has a lot of scratches on it so it looks bad. Guess I better get a new one.

    That's an example of an uncameoed coin whose photo has been overexposed making the coin look better than it is. It would fall far short of any first-tier TPG's requirements for even a CAM designation, IMO.
