Doug, You are correct. Thsi search is marginal at best. However, there may be something already in your program to help. There is a "Similar Threads" at the bottom of this page. Every time I have looked at it, it has a totally inane connection to the current thread. Is it adjustable? It actually could be useful in searches if it had any kind of connection to the original thread.
Ben, This is not the PCGS board and nobody will kick you off. Free speech is always welcome on CT. I understand your point about cleaning coins, but your analogy about using drugs is a little over the top. BTW, I know I have heard your name before, but I can't place it. Are you a member on the NGC board? If so, what is your user name over there? Paul
Well, I don't think it was over the top - I thought it was perfect Well, I didn't think it was over the top - I thought it was perfect! When one wants to make a point or use an analogy the thing of importance you want to convey is the "meat" of the thing! When people get a more complete story they are more empowered, being more empowered mean being better informed, being better informed is the purpose of any given inquiry or discussion. When telling the truth put in all the truth you know and do not ever guard people from themselves. You may know me - I've worked with John Bordner and Billy Crawford. I have found about 200 new listings for the Wexler files. I know by phone or email or letter Wexler, Potter, Weinburg, Ellis and many others. I've found many "big ones" and been in Coin World a couple of times. Certainly been in "The Hubb" many times, I've been around. Also I own and run The Knoxville Coin Show each month and give many kids coins, magazines, auction catalogs and introduce many many to variety collecting. I also am quite focal on eBay and controversial. Probably hated by some, ignored by some and liked by some. But when in life is that not true. I'm old enough now to never be "a people pleas-er" any longer and always find my voice. I have learned that many, many things if not most things in life are complex and multifaceted, there just aren't many black or white issues and to always be prepared to ask the question, "what's missing here"? So that's me probably more than you wanted to know but with me, "I am what I am". Ben "way to complex for most" Peters
Geez Ben, I figured that out with your first few posts And in case you haven't realized it yet, 99% of my comments are made as GD the CT member. I only put the mod hat on when I have to
