Hi my name Is John and I am a Cointalk addict. Iv'e heard the road to recovery starts with admitting you have a problem, so here goes. I used to surf the web and go to all kinds of sites, I would play games, read current events, chat about cars and racing. I was on several sites each day. For some time now I have narrowed my surfing to about three sites. Two of them for maybe ten minutes a day and the rest of the time I am here at Cointalk. Is there a cure, and how many other people people are afflicted?
You could be a Cointalk addict. I just joined three days ago and I find this place to be interesting, hence the number of posts I have so far.
My Name is Rick and I share your addiction!! I am in horrible shape!! All I do is check this site when I get up, when I get home, on weekends...I have come to rely on this site as a threshold to the Paper Money I am insearch of! Help me Please!! Speaking of that, that member "helpmeplease" has the right user name!! RickieB
you are in luck i have successfully dealt with CT addiction. in fact even the great GD has mentioned that he runs away from CT the moment he sees me. so i can help you. a;; you have to do is join my mohur program and stay comitted you will beat the CT addiction in no time. I also have an ASE program if you just want to moderate yourself and not get off CT completely.
I'm happy to inform you that there is indeed NO cure for your "affliction". If you could be cured, the road to recovery would be very dark and lonely. Never again to be amazed at what knowledge and eye candy that are here to be absorbed. \ Instant addiction! You never stood a chance. RickieB, I know how you feel. Got a few minutes to spare, check CT for something new and interesting. I hate it when I don't have time to get into hot topic. It's so rude to read and run. Isn't it great??? Allen
I don't know what I would do with myself if I wasn't addicted to coin talk! Probably a much less healthy addiction
Hi. I'm a C T Addict. Been one for more than a year AND I don't want to be cured! Please continue posting your acquirements, your questions, your coin experiences, your advice, your coin problems, and your warnings... But, especially keep reading my "TRIVIA" posts and commenting.... Clinker
One look is too many and thousand never enough! Each day I say, "only for a few minutes". That turns into an hour, then go back later then again and again! My one look each day is too many and a thousand never enough! Now I just revealed something about me that is very important - who knows what????? Ben been there done that Peters
Nahhhh - I just hide You guys think you've got it bad ? HA ! :loud: try being around here as long as I have :rolling: As a matter of fact - :secret: - I used to moderate another coin forum long before CT and it was even called CoinAddict !
I am certainly an addict. I wake up at 4:30 a.m. and read posts here then again when I get home from work and several times through the evening. Although, at the same time I find myself from time to time becoming more discouraged from coin collecting. I dont seem to remember some of the things that used to come second nature to me. Doug, you can tell me, does this come from getting older?...lol
I don't think I recall that one--I was on NumisAddict for a short time before it was shut down. When was CA online, and who was it run by? Speedy
I can't believe ya'll! Everyone here knows that if there's something you want, the only place you have to search is Ebay. I'm quite certain you can find a cure on Ebay, for anything that ails you. :goofer: That is, all of you, except Spock. :goof: There's only one cure for Spockitis! :hammer: Ribbit
Ah...LOL. From what I remember it was pretty good--but heck...I hardly have time to keep up with CT, much less go to another forum as well. Speedy
I'm still in denial. I'm not addicted...I can stop anytime I want. Just five more minutes....no, no, ten minutes...three hours tops...then thats it....I think. Guy~ (non-accepting CoinTalk addict)
Yes - I am a cointalk addict. Usually check a few minutes before I leave for work. Then check it when I get home. The most frustrating times is when I have read all the threads that have interested me --- then agonizing wait for someone to post something new. Lucky that today ... work lets me get to the site to get a lunch fix.
