    It is a 5 rials from Iran, dated SH 1360 (about 1982 AD). I think the composition is Cu-Ni, but not 100% sure.

    Looks Islamic, Persian, I'm going to call it Iran. You're going to need an interpreter on the date, and then calendar it up to our years. Base metals, I'm pretty sure.

    EDIT: Whoops, I can see acanthite nailed it, never mind....
