from whats written on the paper.. i am guessin u ordered these from the Bbay mint... coincidentally a couple of days back i found the 2 rs in circulation (buts thats worth ur collection its severly worn out), but for me it was priceless thx for sharing!
yep thats what i meant... sorry for the typo... as u know i am not a grader/proof guy... just save circulating ones btw i came across a 1r coin (with cross) i.e 1 r coin with the same cross desgin as in 2 r coin..again this may be a very common coin but first time i have seen it.. the most common are the ones with wheat and other with 1 finger hand with bangles
well if u can post pics of the coins with bangles in a new thread it will help me give a valauble lesson on coins BTW the 2005 with cross is good if in unc hopefully with a non mumbai mint mark
1rs coin with the cross 1rs coin with the bangle hand and raised finger Both the above coins are quite common in circulation, but the former one is what i saw for the first time yesterday with a star mint mark (of SK or Noida?).... as they say... if i have how rare can it be
well ur totally wrong u can find great coins in circulation. never doubt or shortchange yourself if its a dot under 2005 then its noida if its a star then its hyderabad and getting a good 2005 is quite difficult. now look at the 2007 rupee there are 3 bangles and its quite difficult to find coins where all 3 bangles are perfectly stuck sometimes the bangles will be weakly struck sometimes they will merge together to form a bracelet and a completely different design BTW i am impressed with the pics
thx Spock, appreciate the explanation... for the pics, credit to worldcoingallery... they are not mine... the 1rs coin with cross that i have is better than this pic... as i said it has a star and the witting on the coin is in better shape than the pic..
its hyderabad and if u dont want that one rupee coin oe think its worthless ill take it off your hands
