Grade My Liberty Nickels

    The 1905 nickel I wouldn't go any higher than VF - take a look at those stars on the obverse - some of them are completely flat and lacking any detail. Plus there's just too much wear in the hair, going flat in spots. And on the reverse, the left corn ear is featureless. I could probably agree with a VF-30 grade.

    I cleaned my coin with Acetone today,I posted better,bigger photos.

    so what do u think?

    I would say VF35 - and a dealer would still call it XF40. Just my opinion.
