Purchased this 1879 Beauty from a local reputable coin shop. Coin is unaltered. ( Has not been dipped or cleaned.) The local coin shop that has been in business for a long time graded this coin MS60. 1939 Very Good. Coin does have bag and contact marks on the obverse and reverse. I agree with the coin shops grade (though I am not a professional grader) based on what I have seen through a 10X magnifier. Please SuperSize the Images for a Much Better Look ! If you buy this coin and have a Professional Grading service grade this coin and it does not at least grade an MS60 then I will refund your money. This coin could be an AU-58 - MS61. But hard to tell anything definitive by the written description or photos. $38 for this coin would be retail and $30 at wholesale @ MS-60. Personally I would never purchase this coin with the current guarantee, as this would not be worth the grading fee if it is at least MS-60. Looks like this seller is working on pot luck and your grading skills.
