    Greetings

I have two 1950 Belgian 20 Franc coins. They are both the French (Belgique) version. They are both ordinary circulation coins. Does anyone know what their metal content is? Is there some on-line reference that tells the metal content of all world coins? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

They were struck in .0.8350 silver with an actual silver weight of 0.2148 oz. Total weight 8 grams.

Again, thanks for the quick response. Aside from the five volume hardcopy Standard Catalog of World Coins, is there somewhere on-line that carries this kind of information?

Yup, sure is. It's the same catalogs all on-line. It's called - Numismaster - the basic info is free. But if you want to see values you have to pay.
