I've been sorting through some stuff that the boss kind of "forgot" he had and ran across these little beauties today. They now reside in the clembo collection. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0012-4.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0013-4.jpg I've got to watch my money but did see a few other little jewels I wouldn't mind today. Will talk to him about them tomorrow. Currently in my sights are a run of consecutive 1957 star notes. He also let me set aside a few in the "clembo corner" at work. Seems we all have such a spot at work. Stuff we're interested in but without quite having the funds. Now if someone comes in looking for it it's sold and that's understood. Still a pretty good perk as it were.
It is a d#mned good thing I have never, will likely never, worked in a coin shop. I would never pay bills, buy food etc.
Really I don't know how you pay the bills that would be like sendind a kid to a candy shop , I'd end up owing my boss . rzage
certainly a perk... a real nice one i only have access to all the free office supplies i can carry where i work Real nice notes too!!
Guys, It's just a matter of budgeting, begging, fasting at times and dumpster diving for food when it's real tough. Budgeting is the real tough one Hey, who needs heat in the winter? You gotta get your priorities straight. Honestly this job requires a lot of discipline believe me. I'm picking these up at a good price now or I'd be passing on them all. As for what I DO pass on. That makes me want to cry at times. I get what I can get and reasonably afford with the thought that IF I need to raise some money I can sell it and make a few bucks. That's really the only way to do it
