2008 kennedy half dollar is the lowest mintage that the kennedy series were produced. today feb.22, 2009. the mint will offer again the 2009 version. can the 2009 mintage lower than the 2008?. let's see. are you planning to buy them?.
don't worry about ultra. not so strong enough. i cancelled some of it. i keep one for the meantime. might cancel it too.
I bought a couple BU 08's last year to keep my full set up to date. What was the final mintage figure?
With the economy in the toilet, you can bet mintages on all coins will be going down down down, just like...
Kennedy Halfs Hi ! Elaine, I have enjoyed some of your post. Thanks much. Question; What is the meaning of ULTRA ?
I don't think 2008 was the lowest mintage JFK. 1970-D was set only, although it was a business strike. There were 1987 was really "rare" too! However, how could something that there are millions of be rare?
1970 d - 2,150,000 1970 s - 2,632,810 1987 p - 2,890,758 1987 d - 2,890,758 2008 p - 1,700,000 2008 d - 1,700,000
I am buying my 2 rolls like usual. I wanted the 2001 Kennedys but waited to long. I do have 10 each of p and d, which I am happy for. I think I will wait so I can get something else and only pay shipping once.
i would stick to 2008 and 2009. i think 2009 will be few also. but maybe a little bit more than 2008. i am sure it is better than sac and prez dollars.
check the kennedy clad proof and silver proof. those prices were really kill us. i don't have any single pieces. except i got some clad proof set and silver proof set. which contained kennedy half.
2008 kennedy p & d both got 1,700,000 each. 2009 kennedy p & d both also got 1,700,000 each. (not final).
Is This Link the only way to get the latest halves or for example can my bank order them? I would love to have some to go through but I am a budget collector and I really have a difficult time bringing myself to paying a $30 premium per $100 bag of halves or a $13 premium per $20 worth of rolls. Neither premiums accounting for shipping costs which I find reasonable.
