I've got an '03 and a '93, so I guess it isn't time to get a new one yet. :p

I only buy them like Roy every-now-and-then...I have the 2005 and a 2003.

When I'm buying a lot of coins or a hoard or such I get out a red book that is a few years old as that is about the "Ask" price in the Gray Sheet.

If it is a better coin then I go higher than that.

Its a great book but should not be taken as "good as gold".

I have a few, certainly nothing close to a full set. I've got 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005 and then some olders issues a few in the 60s. The old ones are neat to look at.

Anybody buy the new leather edition?

I just bought the 2005 and then discovered that I have an old 10th edition leather bound version. I don't even remember when or how I came to have it. I think 10th edition is 1957. How's that for a spread? :)

I think I'm going to try to buy some of the older one just because I think they are neat.

I know a guy that had them all but they were stolen...I think.

I have a 1997 Coin World Guide to US Coins, the 2005 North American Coins and Prices Guide to US , Canadian and Mexican Coins, and the 2005 Redbook. The Coin World book seems more complete. I'm not sure how the three compare for accuracy.

    I have a rather odd collection of Red Books. 1980, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1999, 2000, and 2002 - 2005. (Can you tell when I took a break from hard-core collecting?)

I also have the 1963 and 2001 Blue Books.
