Went to an old fairground spot today...

    Had a little success. Found Two Indians, 92,98. Two Buffalos, 1916 and a dateless. A 1897 Barber dime. Plus the cool "good for" token. I really like the token. Have one on me. :)

    Gotta hand it to ya Jimmie - you're better at this than anybody else I know of. Neat finds :cool:

    Thanks guys and yes Bachus I was using a detector. You may know the spot. It was Hillsdale fairgrounds. You know the spot?

    No, I haven't been in Michigan very long. Is that the town of Hillsdale south of Lansing, just north of the Ohio border ?

    Yep thats the one. I live in Jackson. In between Lansing and Hillsdale.

    That’s a couple hours away. If I had a metal detector, I might consider going to the downtown Holland park in a couple weeks after the tulip festival is gone. I don’t know how long that festival has been taking place, but I’m guessing there’s at least a 100 years of folks walking around, change in hand, looking to buy something to eat.
