And yeah, I like the quarter a lot. I just hope the front isn't dull and is nice like the back!

That a nice bunch of coins you got there. I really like those early quarters and halves.
I had to chuckle about the description on the 1866 seated half though. "a bit worn" Just a bit. It still amazes me that the coins circulated long enough to get that worn.

Cool coins. I like number 3 a lot, very nice specimen.

I remember looking at #3 too and was considering bidding. Didn't go for it, mainly because I couldn't tell how much luster remained on the obverse based on that picture. The reverse is beautiful though. Please send better pics when it arrives!!

Some nice pieces, the only one that I would have passed on is the 1838 O No stars dime.

    Too much damage.

    But, that $1/2 (1866 S) is a nice low mintage of 60,000.
Good pick up, even in that grade.

Yeah I agree on the dime, the only reason I went for it was because I picked it up so darn cheap. It's basically a high end filler.

Should be receiving them today or tomorrow. Or at least some of them. Payments cleared about two days ago for a few. So, we'll see.

The '38-O dime has the advantage of being a "two year only" type. Mine is the more common 1837.
The '66-S half, although a bit worn, is the last year of that variety and low mintage. Mine is the much more common 1859-O.

Overall a nice group of coins.

I can't wait to see some better pictures, I love #2, that must've been the deal of the bunch IMO, I'd like to see #5 closer too looks like you picked that one up at a steal as well.

I agree, that is a nice group of coins. I would have bought the '66 S half too. i like rarities
and that one is still a representative example, even if quite low grade.

I thought the 66-s half was a great deal. PCGS AG-3 went for $430 on heritage, I'd call this one FR-2.

It might be awhile before I can get pictures sadly, because I'm stuck on a laptop due to internet problems : (

    Question about the 66-S half:

I know it looks cleaned but it isn't, those are sliding marks that show up a lot in the photo (I examined it closely to look for abrasive cleaning), but it DEFINITELY was dipped in something, making it far too bright. This is a ~$500 coin in G, my grade for the one I got is FR-2+. Is it still worth keeping for $150?

I would say it has absolutely been harshly cleaned. As to the value, the only thing I can find that even comes close to grade sold for $126 and it was in worse shape than this one so I;d have to say yes it is worth $150.
