I recently got a few coins and i wanted to know if the coins are real or fake. Also if any of these coins are real...then if possible..i wanted to know the estimated price of them. I am posting 10 pics that i took of 5 different coins. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050130.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050134.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050135.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050136.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050137.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050138.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050139.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050140.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050141.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050142.jpg Thanks in advance. victoria looks shaky empress also both the georges are also shaky the edward one i would like a closer look into
Edward new pics http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/Edward.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/striker_rage/S1050147.jpg Just checked http://www.rbi.org.in/currency/museum/cc-QV.html Queen victoria are all fakes. The only doubts remaining are King George V-1917 and Edward -VII-1904
nah the 1917 is all messed up its not how shall i call it entierely over board. ill go takea look at the edward pics. where di u get these ( you might still get melt for them) even george 6 coins straight from the mint are so beautiful they are even better than mohurs.
for edward close up of the reverse too please. the ear looks funny and look at his head and tell me if you see any traces of hair
every time u mention mohurs or something similar i am gonna pester u to part with one Striker_rage, i dont want to sound negative or scarcasticor anything, but by any chance did u buy these coins from any street vendors in India? Cause i almost fell for these street vendors ..
Thanks spock1k and Mumbapuri for the help. The victoria empress coins and george V 1939 were guarantee fakes(as we found out from the rbi site) so i had a little idea that these would be too. I didn't buy these yet...but asked the seller (a person whom i know) to lend these before i bought them. Looks like it was the right thing to do...lol I m so glad i didn't go to those street vedors. Thanks again everyone for the help. I will post my collection of coins soon..hope they will be real. Regards, striker
