Coin Collecting Clubs in NYC?

Strange as it may seem, I can't seem to find a coin collection club for my son and I to join in New York City. You'd think there would be several, but ANA and other sources don't list any.

Is anyone aware of any that I may be overlooking?

I can't locate any except the American Numismatic Society

 

That's about right unless you want to start one.

I thought that there was one in Staten Island?

There is also one in Nassau County.

 

Nothing I've heard of but I'm not taking the Ferry to SI. The city should have dozens of clubs. WHy it doesn't is beyond me. This is a different kind of place. It doesn't do "clubs"

Which is not part of NYC.
