1980 rotated 180 in collar and double struck

    Here is my most surprising find I've ever made from an original roll. It appears to have rotated 180 degrees in the collar and struck again. I'm very pleased to have found it and have no desire to ever let go of it, but I have no idea of the value for it. Would it be worth sending to a grading service, if so, which one?

    do you have a picture of the reverse?

    The details aren't as strong on the reverse, but you can see the NT in CENT below United pretty well.

    Because most of the first strike has been obliterated by the second strike, I'd estimate its value at $100. Still a very nice find.

    PS: are you checking for the 1980 Doubled Die Obverse as you look through these?

    Yes. That was the reason I bought the roll.

    Seeing that through my loupe really knocked me backwards.
