new addition to my BU set :D 1969 s cent

    ok nothing real spectacular but was a nice find flipping through the $1 box at the fleamarket :D

    Meow has a very strong feeling that that penny came from a Cello Mint set. As Meow acquired a couple of 69 and 70 quarters with a much more extreme line pattern in the fields. That is what those greyish lines are in the fields. A reaction of the metal to the cello.

    That was my thought either cello or was in a flip for a long time

    It sounds silly but rebuilding a "lost/sold" collection is fun, if only because of simple little finds like this one can all happen again :D

    Meow has shown the "flying eyeball quarters" Meow is talking about, here before. It was one of Meow's first bunch of fleabay coin purchases years ago. Meow will look for the image to show you if Meow can find it.

    Meow bought these on fleabay just for the neat patterns on them. They where in cellos. Meow took them out so they would not change, hopefully.
