1992D. This coin is in very nice condition. Is it a close AM?

    It seems very close, more so than the many other 1992 cents I have. A7929CFA-7921-4187-ADD0-8E712F5973C8.jpeg

    use this to determine the variety. Check the FG's. From the pictures, I do not think so. CAM=WAM Lincoln Cents.jpg

    If it's equal distance of space between the A and the E then it is not a CAM. It either is or it's not.

    I clearly see the space between the A&M in the last pic when enlarged .

    I recently looked at these on Ebay and 10 of the dozen I looked at were being sold as close A.M but are wide. I hope no one is buying them.

    Had to go back and look at sold 92 wide AMs and see that several people have been taken to the tune of hundreds of dollars. Seems criminal to me.

    It is . You can clearly see how the A & M just about touches in the close AM . this example is definitely a wide A M .
