This looks very much like 1520 half thaler (but I belive this is a differen denomination, perhaps a thaler?) from Bohemia, with obverse: AR . DOMI . SLI . STE . ET . FRA . CO. D . B with St. Joachim standing S I (Saint Ioachim), holding a blazon; and reverse: LVDOVICVS : PRIMV : D : GRACIA : R : BO : and Czech arms (lion rampant left).
However, I cant say anything about authenticity of it. If it is real, it is worth a pretty penny.

i think it's not the 1520 half thaler,it looks only like it and the year 1988 is written too under the SI .....

Just for fun and information, the writtings are:

    AR(ma) : DOMI(norum) : SLI(comum) : STE(fani) : ET : FRA(trum) : CO(mitum - das M ist im O ersichtlich) : D(e) : B(assano) : (Coins of Misters Schlick: Stefan and his brother, Counts of Bassano).

    and:

    LVDOVIUS : PRIM(us) : D(ei) : GRACIA : R(ex) : BO(hemiae) : (Ludwig I, by God's Grace King of Bohemia).

The original coins of this type were minted in St. Joachimsthal, a little city in Bohemia.

I can't see the 1988 on the coin, but if it is there, well, that makes the authenticity question solved. Even so, I seem to remember such a copy auctioned for not a trivial amount of money.

I have seen a similar thing on copies of Dutch Provincial coins,
especially on gold. One time I was shown what looked like a gold coin from 17th Century Utrecht, but I could tell that it was not a genuine piece, even though the fineness was correct.Firstly,it was too round (genuine coins are hammered),& I could see a small date '1966' on it.
