1833 50c- Overton assistance, pretty please?

    PS- I only had about $45 in the 1806 O-129 originally, so I did make a $30 profit when I sold it for 75 bucks! :p

    So what if it was a five-figure coin, right?

    Right?

    *sob*

    FWIW, the guy I sold it to didn't know what it was, either. The guy he sold it to did.

    Indeed, and in that particular incident, the fella with the knowledge gained from it. And good for him.

    Though I was the donkey in that deal, I take the whole thing philosophically, and it really doesn't bother me all that much. I've been on the flipside of that equation several times, and have made my own nice cherrypicks from time to time. In areas where I did have the requisite knowledge.

    Don't feel too bad, I have cherried many items, including, believe it or not a 1909 S VDB, from a dealer.
