Just one question. How will you know the date and time when the count always changes.

Good Lord Ruben, how obvious does it have to be ? Your post for example, look at it. It tells you that you made that post - Today, 04:59 AM. I think I'll be able to notice when I hit 20,000.

What your question should have been is - how will you, the other members know the date and time ?

Well, if you not online and looking at that exact time - you won't. You'll just have to trust me ;)

Its oK with me. Jazzie's opinion not withstanding, I don't look at the number when I'm deep into posting!

    I too have a question

In this thread alone, you've posted (so far)

    1-10 3:36 PM
    1-10 5:42 PM
    1-10 5:43 PM
    1-11 1:03 PM
    1-15 11:20 AM

For each of those posts, the number of posts showing for you is the same although the number apparently jumps each time you post somewhere else..

As I type this, each of those posts show you've posted 19,771 times.

It seems we're counting the number of threads you've posted in rather than the actual number of posts you've made.

Anyway, my guess is 1-21-2009 2:22 PM

No, it's the posts that are counted, not the number of threads. For example, when I first announced this contest on 1/10 here in this thread, I had approx 19,700 posts - don't recall the exact number, just that I had about 300 to go.

But if you go and check you'll find that I have not posted in 71 threads since then.

edit - better make that 82 threads since that is my current count at this time

OK - Got it. I don't know what I was thinking...well actually I was thinking that the count showing at each post was the total only up to that point. I realize now that the number updates throughout the entire forum for each new post. My bad.
