Lincon cent reverse on front double strike back

Can anyone explan what this error is called? It has the reverse struck over the obverse. and the reverse is struck twice with the second strike being rotated.

Any idea of value? Looks like it has some tar on it. I think i can take care of it with a wire brush! j/k :mouth:

looks like it was glued to a few coins. get some goo be gone and give it a wipe.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. Get some hydrocarbon solvent such as toulene, xylene or lighter fluid and give it a good soak. See if there is anything there that comes off. Then get back to us. You could have something good there.

 

look at the On of ONE on the obverse.

As you can see the letters are reversed.

A sure sign of a glue job.

 

I dipped it in aceptone for about 10 minutes and all the glue came off.
