Hi can any one tell me what this is and what it may be worth?? i have been told it is possibly masonic .... deffinitely from the usa ... but have no idea what all the numbers and letters are for (see photos) it has the name Albert Wiss on it and the following dates and , 1861 1492 1942 1776 july4 and the number 31,461538 above the cross in the centre and at the top on one side the marking s.40-80.g , it is in an ostrich skin case marked telefactors peekskill N.Y ,any help would be greatfully recieved Thanks
This piece looks very much like a Freemasons token,but I cannot say with certainty.Could any other member please provide some more information? Aidan.
I have looked at this token and have looked at it but for the life of me I can't see what it is....I'd say that it has something to do with the Masons but then I know next to nothing about the Masons. Speedy
Ive dug through this for a while and cant find anythin comparable, perhaps someone who frequents one of these sites can help you out. Your other option is to ask a masson.
The numbers on both sides are arranged so that those on opposite sides to one another add up to eight. The first three dates you list add up to 16 each if you add the individual digits together. As does each row of numbers.
