I have been seeing a few strange new coins around. Heres one with a blurred out bust surrounded by some legend. The obverse has some winged figure, nike? Woth a square monogram. The monogram is what caught my eye. My guess is that these are some imitation coins of indogreeks or scythians, but what do you guys think. Pictures are a bit low q, as I dont have it.
Ah lovely, that was a quick identification! What about this one, not sure if the obverse is the right side up. The reverse seems to have a crude hercules with a club. And whatever that chicken footprint looking thing is.
Also Kujula, the reverse figure is Heracles. I have a few; they come in many sizes and degrees of degeneracy
Probably not the first - I believe the 'Heraios' type was earlier, either an early name of Kujula, or else his father etc. I only have an obol: Before him, the disjointed Yueh-Chi tribes also minted coins, I believe the most common are the hemidrachms of "Sapadbizes"
