Anyone else in the UK have a complete state quarter set?

I have 2....one was filled from circulation from times I have been there...the other filled with paid for quarters on ebay each time one has come out.

Either way, I wouldn't sell either of them for say...$500.
because of the sentimental value attached to each.

they are my babys of my coin collection...even though they only add up to $12.50

Bravo Sir! I just hope he glued them reverse out so he can enjoy the designs. I wonder what the P vs D ratio is?

    Look at the bright side...

He's less likely to have any PVC damage this way.

At least he didn't use a hammer . Glad it made him happy and probably helped him get through some rough times such as chemo and radiation therapy .

Oops, I didn't read the piece, just the silly headline. Good for him.

i say good for him, but he wouldn't get anything over 13 dollars for it, considering the state quarters are very easily obtainable, you can go to the grocery store and buy a coke with a 5 and probably get 2 state quarters, but its more of something to remember and give to his grand kids for them to remember him by

I too have the same board filled with state quarters. I couldn't get them to stay in the little holes and my Mom took a rolling pin and smashed the little suckers into the holes. :kewl: :hail:  They could give the guy with glue a run for his money. :goof: :p Sometimes my Mom channels her inner MacGyver. :eek:hya:

    The unanswered question is . . .

    Rubber cement?
    Airplane glue?
    Elmer's?
    Super glue?
    Wood glue?
