Guess the Grade 1891 Morgan Dollar

I believe it to be a pretty solid 64, even with the scratches

I'm on the MS63 train.

 

I'll guess 63 (not my series!)

 

I voted 63+. There are lots of allowances made for Morgans because of bag marks and facial scratches. I agree with the 63 obverse but the reverse is really clean. Couple that with the exquisite detail and I think it could make 64...imo...Spark

 

63 but not suprisped if it goes higher given the variance

 

I like it at 63, but i think NGC probably gave it a 64.

Sorry for the delay. I got sidetracked with kids Halloween preparations. Thanks for all the input. I agree with the consensus that the reverse is superior and the obverse has a couple problems. Here’s the slab:

 

No problem. I was just wondering how this graded. Enjoy Halloween. I'm hoping we get some kids tomorrow for "Trick or Yeet." I plan on throwing candy to them as they go down the sidewalk. My wife has more sedate plans, though.

 

Happy Halloween got it right how am I going to hand out candy easy going with the throw/kids hopefully catch it style also.

 

i was going to guess 63 but i was late to the game , the Reverse is nice

I went with 63+ as a net grade. Maybe if the obverse and reverse quality were reversed it would get a 64. As many have said, the reverese is very nice.
