    Please post your favorite Indian Head Cents . These are 3 Coins I dug Metal Detecting .
    1882 ( Longacre doubling ) , 1891 and 1893 ( found under shield item )

    No I figured someone here would know. I found the "tiger pattern "1893" cent just about a couple inches below it .

    Here ya go .It measures 3"x3 3/4" . I did notice with my loupe that there are possibly tiny hole around the border like it was nailed to something .

    Here is one of my favorites. 1859 with shield reverse. 1859 J-228 OBV Proof.jpg 1859 J-228 REV Proof.jpg The 1859 J-228 in Proof. Very Rare Few Known. The 1859 J-228 in Mint State is a R-1 rarity. The Proof is a R-7 rarity.
