1818 O - 104 Capped Bust

So I wanted to share this coin I picked up today in VF+ condition, I love half dollars and their history. Once I did my research on this set and about Reich, I decided I wanted to buy my first one to start. Enjoy

Doh! Yes I see its the 106, I found a good reputable dealer and did my reasearch before purchase. Such a beautiful coin!

Nice Bustie, but VF+ is a bit generous... try to find a Bustie of the later years, they can be bought in XF/AU for reasonable prices.

So im feeling like this coin dealer is not so reputable, they charged $200, im sure now that I was taken advantage of, what do yall think?

 

I would say $200 is full retail, but IMO you didn't really get a haircut. I've paid more for less coin.

I do not mind paying top dollar, I will always remember this purchase, and that my friends is part of the joy in this hobby Just happy I did not get rooked.
