A Real Off Center Gem

On yesterday's post I mentioned that I had another one for today. Since I just returned home from voting here it is and it's a beauty.

A NGC graded 1941 Wheat Ear Cent, struck 10% Off Center. A real gem as it's MS-66 Red. Again, this coin was really hard to get good photos of.

There are some marks on the case and light reflections that I couldn't get rid of but you can see the coin well enough to see its beauty. It's redder than I can get on film. Shiny too.

On the reverse is also a ghost image of Lincoln. That was hard to capture too.

@Randy Abercrombie I have 3 more to post from this 8 year old box. Next I will be opening another one from 2012 just like this one. Can't wait to see what's in that one. Since we don't want to upset our wives I'll post them so we can all enjoy them. Lol

Well under what it would sell for today but I paid less than $12.00 for it 8 years ago. Ya gotta love this coin.

Sometimes you can get lucky and purchase a Mint Error for a low price. It has happened to me. I once won a NGC Slabbed mint error for $8.00 on ebay. I guess nobody else was that interested in it.

That's a beauty, and two for one. Can't beat that.
