I am told that the reverse of this Maximianus Herculius Tetradrachm is scarce,
and I have been unable to locate its match for Reference...
If anyone can come up with a duplacate example with reference, I would be grateful..!

Nice coin. In wildwinds there is one Herakles reverse type listed Milne 4979, and it has his right arm extended, whereas yours is a more classical pose. So you'll have to dig deeper. Dattari probably has an example.

Thank you so much for your speedy coin hunting expertise,
this sure did not take you all long, I guess I still lack some reference bookmarks, the coinproject is one I have never seen before...!
Again thank you for the help!

great coin, that may be the largest club relative to Herc I have seen. Since it is election day it made me think of politics a century ago....

These Max with Herakles reverses are pretty cool! @TIF snagged up my previous one of a different Herakles type a couple years ago in the AMCC1 auction:

And I ended up replacing it a year or so later with a slightly different style and year of the type with officina mark in exergue:

Maximianus, Ruled 286-305 AD (First Reign)
    AE Tetradrachm, Egypt, Alexandria
    Struck Year 7, 291/292 AD

Obverse: ΜΑΞΙΜΙΑΝΟC CЄΒ, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: Hercules standing facing, head left, leaning on club with right hand, apples of the Hesperides in left hand, lion’s skin over left arm, date L-Z (year 7 = 291/292 AD) across fields, B in exergue (officina).
References: Emmett 4131, Milne 5027 var, Curtis 2086 var
    Size: 19mm, 8.2g

The reverse of this coin is a die match with Zach “Beast” Beasley’s similar coin below (not the obverse, though):
