It's Monday! Here are two common and sloppily struck coins from medieval Regensburg in Bavaria. What do you do if you are a Bavarian duke and run a joint mint with your local bishop? You simply mint two types, one with him and another with yourself on the obverse: Regensburg, anonymous joint episcopal and ducal issue, AR pfennig, c. 1315–1374 AD. Obv: Head of duke above merlons, between H-O. Rev: Heads of bishop and duke facing within double arcade. 17mm, 0.84g. Ref: Emmerig 246.
