1984D penny mint mark error?

    Ok. Next time please post full Pictures along with cropped sections . The Members tend to like that . You don't want to upset them. I already did . LOL
    From what I see, you have a RPM or Re-punched Mintmark .
    What's that coming out of his nose ?

    Looks like the start of zinc corrosion to me. The copper plating often splits at the mint mark exposing the zinc.

    Plating blister as already said. Plating blisters have ruined many a good RPM on these zLincolns.

    Nice plating blister. There is another linear plating blister from Lincoln's mouth to I don't know where as you didn't give us photos of the entire coin.
