Hey Thanks . So what's it worth graded though . That site says $3 in VF condition . Why did someone grade it then ? I saw at Littlecoins they have them for $43- $48 !! Wow , Ebay about the same . Guess I should of looked at Ebay first but I'm so bad at Currency , lol.
No I saw it but was intrigued by what Ebay asking prices were . Thanks for replying . I appreciate it .
@SensibleSal66 Note that this is a basic uncirculated note at C.U.63. So Steve's post/reply would be what you should expect this note to go for. Had it had a designation of EPQ for the extra quality of the paper, then EBAY prices might reflect a higher price. Steve-please correct me if I'm wrong. As with everything collectible, condition is everything. Someone paid a fee to have this slabbed and actually lost money on this note.
Many relatively low value notes have been submitted in bulk, from large retailers receiving a discounted grading rate and they profit off of notes like these all day long. It doesn’t make sense to me, for collectors to submit notes valued at under $50.
The 1957 series was over produced, even in gem and being a STAR the value isn't that much, $18 to $20 is about it if your lucky.
Littleton is overpriced. Agree with Steve in Tampa at $12. And that's graded, retail. If I am a buyer I am at $10.
I would add, that this being in 63 makes it less desirable, especially with so many higher grades, honestly you could probably get more cutting it out of the holder and going raw.
