1944 cent ddo?

  1. looks like there is extra thickness and the mint mark is normal along with there being some slight notching if you look closely along the bridge of the nose and forehead seems to be seperation thank you for you input

    It's flat and shelf-like around the date. That's a characteristic of mechanical doubling, not hub doubling

    If you visually remove the doubling the devices are smaller than normal. With a true doubled die it would be normal size.
