I think the author has some interesting thoughts. Not everything in the book is "me", but there are passages I can very much identify with, some I have marked and read multiple times....
You can ask the dealers here on CT. I ALWAYS have my purchases sent to the office so I can sneak them into the house avoiding the wife’s scorn. Yeah, when you are sneaking coins in the house, I would say that is an addiction.
I am getting my addiction under better control. I only purchased 3 silver halves this week but was looking at 4. I think I am getting better. I don't want to talk about last month though. LOL
Sure, we’re all addicted to coin collecting. It could be worse though (thinking of baseball cards or butterflies...)
I always tell my roommate... If I die, my coin collection will pay off my mortgage and you can keep the house. Pretty sure that wouldn't be true if I collected most other things.
Coin collecting is not and addiction.. that's like saying "drugs" are an addiction... now you get more specific... Bust halves are extremly addictive as is colonial copper and we won't even mention Dbl Eagles... they the cocaine of the coin world
