Hello all, I was just curious as to how much these might be worth. I paid about $1.20 a piece for them. I think the 1911 D is fairly impressive. The 1912 is pretty nice too. The 1924 was sold as an "S", but I can't find the s???
The S would be on the reverse to the right of "ONE"...I can't really see it in the pics, but maybe in hand you can see it. probably no S, but he labeled it as one just because they're worth a bit more...but not in that condition. Since I still have little confidence in my grading skills, I won't give you a definite answer on value...maybe AG or G-4 on the Barber dimes ($2.50 each according to 2008 Red Book) and probably the same grade for the merc., worth about $3.00.
