I recieved this coin from my father when he passed away and was wondering if it is worth anything. It is dated 1921.

can you post a pic? two different silver dollars were minted in 1921. Also can you tell if it has a mint mark? If it has a spread eagle on the back the mark will be between the D and O in dollar. If the Eagle is perched it has no mint mark for that year.

There is a picture posted. There is a mint mark but I can't tell what it is because it is so small.

The links for back and front dont work. If it has a mint mark then it is a Morgan dollar. They go from $11-$40 depending on condition. The mark is either a D or S.

    Hi, Rhonda. :)

In this case, it's not important whether, or not, your coin has a mintmark. All circulated 1921's sell for about the same. I would estimate your coin to be worth $10-$15 to a collector.

Sinse it was left to you by your late father, it's probably worth a lot more than that to you.

    Good luck!
