Odd indeed, Razz. It would have been stranger yet if your coin was a '22 P. What would cause this? My initial thought was that it sat in a book for decades, with it's obverse exposed. But that wouldn't account for the immense frontal wear.

Welcome to Coin Talk. The valuable coin is the 1982-D small date Copper coin. Here's how to tell the difference:

As far as I know, Only two 1982 D small date Copper coins have been found.
All other 1982 Lincoln cents are not very valuable except in very high grades.
If the weight of your coin is correct, it's a copper coin but is it the Large or Small date?

1929 s reverse.jpg 1929 s obverse.jpg 1929 reverse.jpg 1929 obverse.jpg Just a couple of new additions to my set. The reverse of the 1929 S does show more luster than what I was able to show on my pics. Still, they will find a nice home in my Lincoln binder.

@Gabriel Teran. When you post a new thread, at the bottom right there's a button "Upload a File". Click on that button then go to the file where your photos are stored, click on the pics you want to post, go back and click on the upload button. They should appear below your message. Then click on the Post button.
