the 2006 anniversary set in 2008 for the silver eagle. all the ebay listings talk about how the mint sold out in december? if true, why did they wait 2 years?
If I understand what you are asking, the mint sold out of all of the anniversary sets in 2006 or close to it. I think the Ebay folks are saying the mint sold out of these sets in 2006 and now they (Ebay sellers) are reselling these sets in 2008/2009. The December these folks are talking about is probably in 2006. Anything that the mint is no longer making is often described as sold out, especially on some of those coin shows.

Yea I saw that about Foley. Not to far away from me, relatively speaking. I would like to go sometimes but I just bought a bunch of common silver dollars and worn out walking liberties this week at close to melt I know if I go to one of the shows, I will buy something and I really need to chill for a while. Good year for Bama. Maybe Sabin can have another great recruiting year like he did last year
