This is my 3rd oldest coin I own and what's neat is I actually found this on a Metal Detecting hunt back in 2003 . It's not just a 1753 King George 2nd 1/2 pence but it was found here in the States ! I live in Connecticut and these are not common as they were years ago detecting , not as common as the U.K .
What do you think ? (not about my photo skills, the coin , lol ) . 1753 KG copper rev-tile.jpg

I know I know it's crude but if you've been to the dark side (Ancient Forum) , you'll appreciate an old Colonial in its RAW state, more cleaning maybe or leave it be ?

What? I'm sure there are many more to be found in the entire North Eastern Coast.. I see Metal Detecting videos with King George coins found many times in recent years.

The details on your coin is good. I've seen worse!
    Leave it as is!

What I meant in the old days of detecting (60' / 70's) , it was much easier , that's all . Sorry for the miscommunication .
