Does anybody know if the mint is going to issue ASE unc. & proofs this year? I don't see anything listed on their 2009 calendar. Last year I got my 2008's in early January (unc.).

The uncs are probably already available fro your local dealer. Proofs will probably be sold a little later in the year as usual

Sorry, guess I wasn't clear. Mint issued "W" ASE's (burnished). Got 'em early in January last year. Why not this year? The bullion stuff I know I can pick up localy. In fact you can still order 08's from the mint but they're backordered till 1/30.

I don't believe they are going to be issuing the Unc W anymore. I believe it got cut when they reduced the mints product lines.

The Mint website is accepting subscriptions for the ASE Uncirculated W's and for Proofs, so that seems to indicate they will be available sometime this year.

    That was my fear too........

I hope you are right. I've had subscriptions to these offerings for a few years now. Would be a pity if the mint cancelled the program.
