Hi! I know the back of the coin is broken. But the obverse of the coin is interesting because I didn’t find anything like it. Can someone possibly pinpoint it? Thanks in advance! Circular: YEΣΠAΣIANOΣ ΣEBA AYTOKPATO(...) or AYTOKPATO(...) YEΣΠAΣIANOΣ ΣEBA 4.45 grams 20 mm
Dear Alegandron! Thanks, but I've known that so far. (See post title.) I would like to know if anyone knows of any publication, reference, catalog, occurrence, etc.
The inscription probably reads AYTOKPATΩP OYEΣΠAΣIANOΣ ΣEB[A?]. That might help you with internet searches. Shame the reverse is completely destroyed and offers no clue.
I think it is this one. If you rotate the reverse 180° you can see two of the horns of the altar https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/2/2802
