I got this coin in a lot a few months back but finally got around to taking a good photo and recording it. The patina is really colorful and nice in person, it's not flaky or dusty at all with scratching so I hope it is stable. I took the photos outside to help show the true colors.
(I edit my images to have the reverse first sorry) This well matched pair just got back to me from PCGS. I picked the two up during the Dublin coin fair back in February. Wonderful subtle toning to show full originality on both examples. Excellent strike on the reverse of the 1931 despite the obverse die abrading slightly on the 3, which is typical of the series. In hand the 1933 is clearly the superior of the two with fewer marks on the body of the bull and just a trace more luster as well. Tough coins in MS altogether. 1931 MS64 which replaces my previous AU58 example. 1933 MS64+ which replaces my previous VF35 example. I can only hope to keep the quality consistent across the other years.
new to coin talk and here is my newest addition as of yesterday to the collection. It is also my first foreign coin purchase. Really like it but it kept me up most of the night looking at a million pictures to try and figure out if its fact or fiction. It came as part of a group of 20 coins that a friend wanted to buy but didnt have the whole amount. I split it with him and then we took turns pulling one out of a hat each until all pulled. I thought just the fun of the look on his face every time I stuck my hand in the hat was worth the 60 bucks but now I think real or not now I am hooked on all coins not just US. All ten are foreign but only posted the one cause I've probably already yapped to much as is for being new

Two coins arrived for ME today! The second one I have also posted in a topic thread as it fits the current criterion there.
I upgraded to my hockey puck game with a 10oz-er from Australia. This 2013 Kookaburra apparently came out of the woodwork with the spike in silver a few weeks ago.
A little fin at the top of the reverse on this 1 centime from France. Hard to get the color exactly correct but not bad for $1 US.
More than 100 coins came yesterday, I have imaged only a few so far. The 2 AE with elephants are Mysore, Tipu Sultan 1/4 paisa, 1797 and 1798 respectively. The 1819 copper is a Bleyensteinse duit, interesting story on that one, you can google it. The one with the stylized lion is also Mysore State, 1838, 20 cash.
More from yesterday's haul. All easy to identify except the 1934 from Estonia. Real pretty coin, my prize from Lord Marcovan's give away last month. Note that the 1921 East Africa 10 cents is low mintage, key date of that series.
I know a lot of people were asking, "Where's all the new bear coins lately?" Well, wait no longer. I just got these two.
