Ok so another member, OxJaw, pointed out to me that my Morgan dollar may be this right here: http://www.vamworld.com/1890-P+VAM-7 The description fits it exactly. The zero is higher than the 1, the 9 is closed, and the date is further to the right than normal. My question... is it worth anymore or less than other Morgan dollars? I really don't know how much it's worth actually.... Pics: For whatever reason the date looks a tad blurry in the pic... but in person it's crystal clear that the 9 is closed.
Kim, Your 1890-P Morgan Dollar appears to be the VAM-7 but with a lack of sale history (no sale history in VamWorld, eBay or elsewhere), there is no way of knowing what the coin is worth! You could give eBay a go and see if there is any interest in this Variety but the downside is that this Variety, is not on the Top 100, Top 50 or the Hit List 40 and your' coin is an AU-50 at best.
