Howdy whoopig - Welcome to the Forum !! That's not something that can be determined from looking at pics. The coin would have to be examined in person. But if you can get pics that are clear, these are a bit blurry, we could tell more about the grade of the coin. In thes epics it looks like the shield on the obverse has some wear - but the rest of the coin looks quite nice.

It doesn't look proof. I agree w/ GD MS-65. A nice one!! The color is quite another question...Red, Brown, or Red/Brown. Each photo sort of changes the color a bitt. The more red the better.
NICE---that is the best one I have seen...I would get it slabbed. I agree it doesn't look proof--I see a little weakness on the left wheat too but nothing bad... Speedy
