I would like to find some 2 x 2s on steroids. One of my favorite things to collect is Bryan money, but I have not found any holders that will house them. Many pieces of Bryan money are 89mm (3.50") in diameter. Does anyone make a 4 x 4 cardboard/mylar holder? The airtites I've seen only go up to 3.024" id. The only thing I can find of sufficient size is large paper money holders, which would require stapling or fusing the plastic to hold the tokens in place. Anyone have a suggestion?
I don't know of anything off-hand, but I did a search for "oversized coin holder" on Webcrawler. I found some poly envelopes; probably not ideal, but they may work for you. Here's the link: http://www.whitmanbooks.com/Default.aspx?Page=81&ProductID=8ANC1322 If you search the main page, you may find something else to help: http://www.whitmanbooks.com/default.aspx?page=80&SubCatOID=17
Thanks for checking borgovan. The large size poly envelopes are for oversized coins, but Bryan money is so big that you can set 4 Morgan dollars flat on the face of one of them, and even the large envelopes didn't look quite that big. The only thing that was big enough was the cases for sets of coins, and then I would have to cut my own hole in the cardboard. I certainly appreciate your taking the time and checking. I've looked everywhere I could think of without much luck. That's why I am checking with the kind folks here.
