That's going to bring the price of the book back down to a reasonable price. ;) It has been going up and up and up until it was no longer affordable for many.

I'm glad someone finally did this! :thumb:

Ps: Thanks for sharing it with us Jack! :D

I'm not entirely sure why someone would do this, but like momma says "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

    Yay!

The book is a re-typed version of the text. I found three errors on the first two pages of Chapter 1 in just the first 15 seconds of skimming the text.

The book was full of errors to begin with. I think this will be helpful to alot of new collectors, but for myself, I'm sure I'll be pulling out the same ol trusted books.

Like Speedy said, it was full of errors to begin with so it's more of a initial reference to get you in the right direction so maybe some of the new mistakes will correct the original mistakes? :D

Even with the mistakes it is still one of the greatest references of all time.

That is but one of your many mistakes. But I do appreciate the vote of confidence.

I am no expert spock, never have been and never will be. By the time I die, I will still but only know a tiny fraction of what Breen knew and could recite by heart.

What a great reference book to have on line. I know what I'll be reading for the forseeable future. Thanks for the heads up, Jack! :thumb:

I have to wonder if the publisher knows the book has been posted online? Is this an authorized posting or a pirated version?

I had no idea it was so badly edited. I remember when the book was published with MUCH fanfare and at $75 price tag, it was VERY expensive. The publisher also had many faulty bindings of the hardcover book causing the books to break from the spine after little use. Then, the price jumped to $100 a copy.

The editing errors in the book should have been cleaned up before it was published either as a new edition or online.
